And it wouldn't matter what Frankie Valli sang as long as he believed it and sang the shit out of it, but this is a case of someone just getting it wrong: the real lyric is "You might climb your ivory tower", which makes a little more sense. No idea how "liaise" got in there because it doesn't sound a fucking thing like "climb".
