Fucking fuck.

That thing where your non-musician friends tell you it sounds good and you realize they maybe have a point.

Even though it's the simplest design ever, I still feel like it's a really cool thing that they thought of marketing it to guitar players as opposed to guitar players slowly finding out about them through synth players.
Also, even though they're $120, it still seems like a really good price because I would've never thought of doing something like this even though it just seems like such an obvious choice for anyone interested in modular synths that only has guitar pedals.

So. :thumb:

It's not something that everyone needs. It's not very practical to be changing orders on stage either.

If you want to drone out with 1 band and then do rock with another band and play some country with band #3, then you'd definitely need this mamma jamma.

yeah just that I wanted to see what it'd look like when playing then patching shit around. now it just sorta went from one config to the next with edits. isn't the trick that it's easy, so you won't really have to edit that out?

it's no biggie though. i appreciate the fact that it's horrible to reorder pedals without a mixer/patchulator/etc, and the video was very well done.

I think I noticed this in the video, but any idea how well the Patchulator would work as a format mangler? In other words, send signal from modular into one of the 1/8 in the top, route through some pedals, then either back into the modular or straight to the mixer or something. I don't really see any reason that shouldn't work, just might need to attenuate the modular signal depending on the pedals I guess.

Another thought, using some Tiptop stackcables to split a signal, sending it to different pedals/amps

Damn, I guess I'm going to have to go buy one

That came up in on of the half-dozen Patchulator threads, I believe. Consensus (maybe from you?) was that you'd have to attenuate the line level stuff.

I actually didn't know about or search for any Patchulator threads. Noob

We have like 5 that are all 6-7 posts. And then, inevitably, a new thread with 6-7 posts. Repeat half a dozen times.

If it wasn't you it was Oscilatur (spelling. French modular bro by way of Japan).

Just read through the threads (it was Oscillateur). So much helpful info, plus a super awesome manual over there. It would also fit in with my system/plans perfectly so I'll be ordering one the second I get home from work.

Yeah I definitely recommend it. Just got an RCA to 1/4th so I can run my sampler through my pedals. There will be much 8000 usage tonight.

But that's another thread. Nice demo as per usual Knobs!
