Those made me want one. I heard something about problems with the envelope and clicking. I didn't full understand what people were describing though because I am a synth newbie. Maybe some one could explain it in simple terms. Or people who own them could chime in.

My understanding is that those complaints were largely exaggerated. Super fast, snappy envelope shapes result in clicks at the onset of the gate opening. But like, that is a lot more common than people realize and varies from VCA design to VCA design. It sems like maybe just, it isn't as suited to certain bass sounds if that click will bother you.

You are correct, but I don't think that means something isn't suited to certain bass sounds. I haven't played a synthesizer that didn't have the click when your attack is all the way down; I just nudge it up a tiny bit to slice it off if it bothers me on the sound I'm trying to make.

I mean, that fucking motion sequencer. I am having the damnedest fucking time tryna decide between this and the mother 32 next. But also 8 FUCKING VCOS WITH UNISON MODE WITH A DETUNE?!?!

I just cannot.

Urgh. Resisting one of these until I get better at piano- otherwise the polyphony is wasted on me (I'd be a poly-phonie).

Yeah, as another synth player who sucks at keys: best pun, you win.

I think that's the most use I've put my English degree to since leaving Uni.

I played one today at the local GC. Was surprised they had one. This thing is pretty awesome. The presets are kinda "eh" but with minimal tweaking I got some great sounds. Will definitely be buying in the future.

If I wasn't so ass deep in modular I would've had one of these already. Definitely planning on one in the future. For the pricepoint it just shits on everything else with what it has available.

One of the things that really sold me (besides you know, how great the entire thing is) is this video where a dude takes it apart. Great build quality on this, especially at its pricepoint.

Same here. Just finished off the 3 month payoff of my MS20 Mini with American Musical. I'm not sure but the Minilogue looks easier to nail a good sound out of...

I'm getting one to get better at polyphony on it. Plus you can save settings on the Minilogue.
