Dreadbox?

Post by ritz »

Anybody use any of the Dreadbox semi-modular pedals? These seem so cool to me, but it seems like they are also mostly unknown in the pedal world. Are they just obscure because they are Greek and coming more from the synth world?

The Epsilon seems pretty similar to the Dwarfcraft Arf, and the Omikron seems like an octave pedal meets moog freqbox. Those are the two which really catch my interest. I've got a couple moogerfoogers, and the idea of more semi-modular routing possibilities always gets me excited.

They just started doing modular too, if that's your thing

I have a Taff Tremolo which I love to bits. There is a crappy video of me messing wth it on my youtube page being controlled via a moog cp251.

Looks like they have added a lot to their pedals in the last 6 months or so. They took forever getting that semi-modular synth out.

ive got one of their older pedals, the Sonic Bits delay with analogue bit crusher. pretty great sounding delay that gets very noisy/lo-fi, the "bit crusher" sounds are really nice too and can be turned on/off. pretty nicely featured with cv/expression inputs for delay time and "bits". their new updated pedals all look and sound very interesting.

Their pedals look great. Also the eurorack modules of their pedals. The Lambda and the Delta particularly, but their older pedals like the sonic bits look cool too. Would love to try the CV connections.

Guess who's coming to dinner? Nifty dreadbox!
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

I had an Epsilon for some time and it's super legit. I used it with bass, and it's an amazing filter. If you get the chance to try one out do it for sure.
Listen, the WORLD is my board. All of the pedals are on it, just out of my reach..
