Does anyone know where I can buy one of these??!?!
I saw this heat on Saturday night (frickin awesome!!) and charles bullen played these two tabletop guitars. Does anyone know where I can get one like the blue one on the left with feedback speaker built into the body?

This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

Thanks! I eventually figured out I should searching for a mini or kids guitar and not a lapsteel, I had quite hilariously assumed this was some avant garde lapsteel/tabletop guitar modified with a speaker to feedback the strings!
The way charles bullen played it was fantastic, sounded like gamelan with bending bass notes!

Good question! I hadn't even noticed them on the table until you sent that. I sadly couldn't see him playing (I'm quite short) so you're guess is as good as mine.

I like that both of these are cheap instruments.... it fits in with their ethos / lyrical content, and he played them in a way that sounded incredible.

They played everything!
Horizontal Hold, Not Waving, Twilight Furniture, 24 track loop, Music like escaping gas, the fall of saigon, everything off Deceit and finished with Health and Efficiency.
Mind blowingly good.

Yeah, I think when you're playing a prepared instrument, a lot of times it's more what you do to that instrument than the instrument itself.chrisdermo wrote:I like that both of these are cheap instruments.... it fits in with their ethos / lyrical content, and he played them in a way that sounded incredible.

These De Rosa/Huntington models look fairly similar with the speaker/pickup inverted, although the headstock looks more First Act. It would be hilarious if he was actually swapping out parts on these.

Good luck, little shredder.

After seeing one of Chankgeez's posts, I think this may be a Stagg with a plain headstock.

Here's one with the bridge pickup and a maple fretboard. Red might be a dealbreaker though.
