jwar wrote:So I know this is a weird question. But is there a way to make the volume not have so much output? Since I don't play outside of the home, it's too much for me. I love the tones of the pedals. I just can't move the volume past like 9 o'clock. LOL. Or is there another pedal that I could hook to them to lower the output? These would be perfect for playing live. I just don't. lol
I would suggest something like this http://saturnworkspedals.com/product/volume/ and as or put in a bypass switch on it. Small, simple and compact.

I'll have to buy one of those. Or make one. Shit looks easy. Anyone got a layout for one? :)

I think it's pretty safe to say you have convinced us all to love you. It's not that hard to love such an awesome builder.

Cannot wait for moomindrone+/tape+ gazing. Much as I am pumped for them on bass I might force guitarist friend to use them in our new band.

Best customer service I've experienced! Had some issues with my Tape+, and Alexey offered to solve it, and in the process he added even more features (both modulations at the same time, reduced fuzz output and diode clipping options) :animal:

Can't thank you enough! Looking forward to getting my hands on this as well as the Carpet and whatever other crazy shit you have in the works.

A fernweh will undoubtedly be mine. It might be too soon to make this statement, but I feel like E&A could be my new Seppuku.

Damn, I managed to ignore that thread for a while but now I've read everything and the Tape might be what I want/need as a vibrato pedal. Especially with CV options. The smaller upcoming pedals seem interesting too, I guess I'll have to send an email soon :)

We can also make a vibrato-focused Tape with additional detailed vibrato control allowing for non-chewing tape vibrato, maybe a manual light-sensor vibrato too etc. Looking forward for your email ;)

Got my Moomindrone in today! It's crazy and I have no idea what I'm doing. And pretty noisy, so definitely not for someone wanting pristine sound. Anyone worked out what all the knobs do? Definitely having fun though!

Let me guide you through some cool sounds.
Ok, the first thing - this is not a delay, this is a resonant drone unit. The lo-fi delay mode is VERY lo-fi on this pedal and the time knob should be turned carefully to achieve the best results and find interesting settings. Sometimes turning it right to the left will make it basically a noise unit :)))))
At first our main knobs are the two on the face and the second from the left on top.
Turn the lower face knob (time) to max (to the right). This engages the drone mode.
The upper face knob sets the feedback.
Let's start with a geniune drone sound. Make sure you turn off the modulation by setting the depth knob (second from the right) to minimum.
Turn the upper face knob to maximum, then reduce its value a bit if the drone is too loud. Play some notes, you'll notice some resonant octaves going up in the drone etc.
Let's add some modulation. The toggle switch changes the type - pitch or amplitude modulation. Set the depth (2nd from the left top) knob to some value and try it out.
The left top knob is speed, the knob next to it changes the waveform. Turn to maximum to choose the random waveform for example.
Just play around this basic settings and I'm sure you'll find something appealing.
Please feel free to contact me on any questions you might have.
