Weber Tonecvlt speakers
Who's tried em? Or at least heard them in person? Seems like the kinda thing that would possibly do well around here, and I'm interested.

They seem nice. Like that they come in a wide impedance range. Seem like something I would look into down the road. Thanks man!

Yeah, that's actually what I was kinda thinking tooneonblack wrote:I really want a 2x12 with a grey wolf and a silver wolf
I was kinda surprised a search only turned up two small mentions in the doom room since these seem like something that would go over well here. I may have to try a pair in my VT-22 some day.lordgalvar wrote:They seem nice. Like that they come in a wide impedance range. Seem like something I would look into down the road. Thanks man!

Re: Weber Tonecvlt speakers
They seem pretty new, I only first heard mention of them a few weeks ago so I can't exactly say that any of the Doom Roomer's have had the opportunity to test 'em out.zeravla wrote:Yeah, that's actually what I was kinda thinking tooneonblack wrote:I really want a 2x12 with a grey wolf and a silver wolf![]()

Re: Weber Tonecvlt speakers
I'm curious, but I can't stand speaker manufacturers who don't bother to publish specs. You can put an okay-ish test rig together for the cost of two of these things and a couple hours of labor to test one and generate a report is probably the cost of another two. Maybe another hour to record a couple sound clips.
They're not the only ones guilty of this; Eminence and Celestion are pretty much the only manufacturers who bother measuring sensitivity, frequency response, etc.
Even with that information you're still gambling because you don't know how it'll sound with your amp and whether you'll like it or not, but I can't imagine the complete lack of information is helping sales.

Re: Weber Tonecvlt speakers
Emi and Celestion probably have to do it to sell as OEM - so might as well publish it.

Curious about these, I'm in the market for a 4 ohm 12" to put in my '87 Marshall solid state.

The description makes them seem like they'll be just what I need.

Yeah, I was actually looking for some replacement pickups for my SG when I saw the speakers. The pickups will have to wait.neonblack wrote:BLK TRI makes some badass pickups. I imagine the speaker collab with weber will be great too
