cheapish multi efx for drummer

Post by behndy »

sooooooo want something, sort of like a Line 6 M9, but mebbe smaller and more moder? but something to run the Roland SPDX my drummer uses through. mostly so i can show him how to use delays and play with the length and do wibbly silly stuff. then play with bit crushers or flanging and ridonku things.

M9 might be a good option, but was hoping for something more Boss pedal sized. mono is fine, save spots sorta necessary.

moop?

I think the Zoom MS-100BT meets your criteria.

right range of effects and size, but no save spots and usability issues. i DID like the Ineko and the Akira (sp?), the rackmount version.

i had one of those. i think the CDR one? and the interface was HORRIBLE. programming was okay, but you would have a patch that had whatever amount of effects, and you would have to scroll to each effect and click the footie to turn it off, instead of having a patch with x amount of effects, turn them all off and on with a footie click. was a stuuuuuuuuupid weird way of doing it and i hated it. sounded good though.

man. i LOVED the M9 when i used to have one. looking at the specs and layout though i dunno if it will work for him. i think he's going to want to mount it next to the drum machine. if i find something i like to replace the H9 i have on my second board (that i'm only using for reverb and delay), that might be the best thing for him.

also awesome, but i dunno if he'll have time to play with the neat interface. that is something to look at though. HUH.

urf. DECISIONS.

but thank you for all the yummy suggestions.

Dude, you chuck a line selector patch at the start of the chain to turn them all on and off :).

no, dude, there's a patch for a line selector in the machine, that you add to the start of the chain of all the other patches you've made. No need for extra pedals. Even has a clean blend.

I think you need the bluetooth version if you want a bitcrusher effect.

Actually, I think it's on the 50 if the firmware update is downloaded.
