Re: I can't believe this...I need a phaser
a few days ago I was like "hm maybe I should buy a phase 90". It would be cool to own one pedal that is perfectly simple. Even my most basic dirt peds have four knobs

Ever considered grabbing a Univibe?jwar wrote:I want a lush, super lush, slow phaser.
Dunwich has one of those coming up too. I didn't know they had a phaser coming, but definitely noticed the univibe.

Whetstone used to be the shit, I remember everyone used to love it. Maybe it lost its cache, but it used to be cool.

I still think the Whetsone's cool. The only phaser that's tempted me to replace my Whetsone is the pi-phase, but it's too pricey for me.

The dude is actually doing another run of those pcbs and I was thinking about picking up a couple moreDRodriguez wrote:
I can't remember the circuit used, but if dminner cares to comment, the one I got from him is lush as hell and can get real slow (and it was biphase too)

This seems like the most artful way to disrupt someone's vitals. I wonder how many days you can hold out.ThorZ wrote:The suspense is killing me, you keep avoiding the question dude which WT do you have??

I can't disagree with this.echorec wrote:
You need to forgot about this silly notion of the WT as being a phaser for the people. It's an elitist phaser, conceived by dorks, manufactured for dorks...to impress other dorks. She's the French supermodel with a master's degree in architecture (of phasers) of my space age dreams. She's not some lot lizard giving HJ's to truckers for $25 a tug. She's spoiled, she's difficult to impress, she's clever, but above all she's exotic. You can't just throw her into some mom jeans and a cardigan, expecting her to remain faithful. She'll leave you if you try too hard to domesticate her.

Probably something like a road-worn Ibanez/Maxon. She's been around since the 70s, round and round the block she goes, just turnin' the same ole tricks. She's not that pretty, she's not that classy, but she knows how to survive on the streets.friendship wrote:what's the best HJ-giving lot lizard of phasers though?

I cant believe Chankgeez hasn't popped in yet to tell you what you really need is a flanger, not a phaser…
I still have big love for the Infanem Compact Faye Sing, but La Cavalera from Alexander Pedals also sounds really, really nice and versatile.
