You can try that out and see if tuning that way is worth the price of a new tuner.

I'm pretty sure we covered this in another thread and decided it was kind of pointless without having a fretboard built for it? :idk:

I think any tuner where you can calibrate the cents sharp or flat.

Which then poses the question how many cents difference between 440 and 432?

Lets ask the internet: http://www.sengpielaudio.com/calculator-centsratio.htm

I got -31.7666536 cents. So, any tuner where you can adjust the cents 31.7666536 flat.

No?

Fret board scale would make no difference to tuning A as 432hz

Just checked polytune 2, it can be adjusted by freq, but only goes down to 435 : (

I don't really have interest in tuning to 432, but I do own a turbo tuner and will say that it's flat out awesome and totally worth it on its own, particularly if you do your own setups or intonation or anything.

always the desired outcome yeah?

It was driving me nuts
now I can't have beer or bread or rice or pretty much anything
it's great

just missing that magical third ingredient...

Why would you need that? Loads of us downtune much more than 8 hz, and we're fine. Intervals between notes would be the same too. I recall reading + posting once or twice in one of the past threads on this, but don't remember anything about that.

I'm kinda curious about this too, even if I don't really play live, or with other instruments where pitch matters loads (most things I write end up being guitar/keys, noises and drums). I tune to C standard in A 432, just because the slightly lower tension helps with my wrist while playing. Sure, it's not a huge difference, and could easily be a placebo effect, but it definitely feels better and I don't end up hurting as much after/during playing. Low tunings + short scale + light strings are a lifesaver, and what I said before definitely seems to help. Might just be that it's vibrating in sync with my body/earth/Jwar's boners tho.
