Yeah, I should have both the RM-1N and Echo Degrader in stock in February, i'm still getting the hang of restocking
Just got one of these and am overly impressed with it, absolutely gorgeous pedal. I'm running it after a Walrus Audio Descent, only thing after it is a looper, and as mentioned before, it is really good at smoothing out all previous effects. I was mostly expecting it to be a lo-fi "Arundel in a box" type reverb so was pretty impressed to hear how well it cleaned up and how far you can push the dirt. This thing + a shimmer reverb before it amounts to good times. Long story short, this thing is amazing and I wanted to chime in on the unanimous love this thing receives.

I finally got one. I had been anticipating it for so long and had such crazy expectations that I half-expected to be slightly disappointed. But nope, it is actually better than the crazy good I thought it would be. So ridiculously deep.

I'm one of those types who wants to have the option of reverb before dirt for apocalyptic destruction, and at the end of the chain for pretty atmospheric vibes, but only has space for one verb pedal.
Can anyone tell me if this would get me some of the way there?
i.e. I would put it at the end of the chain in my amp's loop (and therefore after all my OD and fuzz boxes which are in front on the amp) for clean verb sounds, but could crank up it's built in gain settings for some of that 'verb before gain' kind of fun when desired without changing the pedal order...
Well, you have dirt both pre and post gain in the RM-1N itself, so I don't see why not. Hell, you could even make a delicious multilayered reverb and dirt sandwich.
Hi all! What kind of modulation effects do you find to work well with the RM-1N? and do you put them before and after. Everything I have tried has seemed to get swallowed up by RM-1N, which i guess is the nature of this wonderful beast, but I'm curious about what other people have gotten cool results with.
I only have played one modulation pedal with mine, but I put it after just because of how much the RM affects your clean tone. My pedal is a LAL Misty Cave, I think they pair quite well.
Guess i should bite the bullet and finally order the Warped Vinyl. FWIW I've tried the Spectre after RM-1N and haven't really gotten anything special from it yet. Maybe some of the more whale noise settings will be interesting....brb.
Walp, I ordered what was apparently the last RM-1N on reverb.com at the beginning of March, and it was either stolen from my doorstep or the post office lost it and won't fess up to it.
The seller has been super cool about it and has some kind of canadian post insurance that will cover some of it eventually, but still it's an 8-week wait for a new one...so hoping another will materialize soon.
So now I just come to this thread and get all misty eyed ;P
