I want to make a "just what the world needs, another damn power supply" comment but these seem genuinely useful if you run a lot of high-current pedals...
yeah i kinda wish i knew about these before i bought that voodoo labs digital with its four 400ma jacks
curious to hear how not cheap these wind up being
Yeah, I heard about these, but before the full details were out. Looks super useful, especially if you want to get a little ratchet and run one spot-ish chains out of them.
The major thing will be the pricing. Strymon isn't exactly known for being affordable. Always excited to see more competition in an area that's pretty monopolized.
And they named them after boring places in California. (Zuma and Ojai are nice, just not that interesting to me). Hope the make an a/b box called Calabasas.
Are they isolated outputs (I'd assume so if they have the ma limitations). Eh...need more information I guess.

Zuma’s all analog circuitry offers two stages of isolation. Each of the nine output channels is individually isolated from the 24V DC, and the 24V DC is isolated from the AC input power, eliminating ground loop and AC line noise issues. Zuma also provides dual power regulation: Wide-bandwidth optically isolated feedback loops on each channel, as well as on the input, allow both the input and outputs to adjust for changes, ensuring solid output under changing load conditions.
Why can't they release a standalone for the destroyer setting on the mobius :/ I think strymon makes bad ass stuff, at least the el cap, flint and timeline/big sky all seem super cool. They just need something new I feel. I never played the damage control preamp things, how were they?

Let me just say, as an average jabrony, I would have given my most of my organs for this when I was running a PitchFactor, DL4, TimeLine, and BigSky on my board. If you've tried to power all that, even the TimeLine itself, from a "pedestrian" power supply, you quickly realize how insane that photo is.

Live like me. Flip everything. Romanticize nothing. Accomplish nothing.
not that i'm in the market for anything like this but if it's in a similar price range to cioks stuff that's pretty neat. all 500mA outputs is pretty damn impressive and they look pretty tiny, you could power a large board even with the smaller one just by running your whole dirt section off one output.
WHY BLUE THOUGH? it's a power supply, it should be black and inconspicuous. Or at least purple.
