I have too many delays that are kind of similar and this popped into my headspace
any modes similar to a dmm, dmb, akai e2 or smmh?
but think is more my style...
Yeah, I got one from DoS. I like it a lot, the 3 modes give you quite a lot of different flavors, while the Roland mode is my favorite.
I use it on my table top setup, so that I can change modes and turn knobs.
If you go all wet and crank the feedback it can get pretty wild.

Is ist similar to a dmm, dmb, akai e2 or smmh? - I never touched these so :idk:

Holy Schnikes wrote:The Multiplex is excellent, 3 classic modes, sounds incredible, and the momentary "tape speed" stomp let's you get some awesomely crazy or simple and subtle results. I love mine.

Another awesome BUT more costly option is the new EQD Disaster Transport SR. Dual tape delays, multiple options on how to run those delays or feed em into one another, expression control for each delay, trails or true bypass via simple footswich, etc, etc.

The two pedals compliment one another very well tho, each doing things the other can't. Together they are like tape delay heaven. The Cbread Echorec is cool too but has nothing on those others.

LaoWiz built me a Multiplex recently and it absolutely rules. They just released an add-on modulation circuit too, thinking about updating mine when he let's me know how it sounds. And yeah, his enclosures are incredible, weathered DBA plus old school EHX vibe. I immediately ordered a buncha shit from him right after getting the Multiplex. I posted all about it recently here:

And here's what it looks like....

And here's my thoughts on the excellent Disaster Transport SR. I haven't even made it to the expression pedal functions yet, repeat and bleed, lots of good sounds in this one.

I need this! How do I get in touch with him?

This. His name is Laowiz on here. You could also look in the shark tank for The Out Sound. I don't think he's building much right now, but you might get lucky :thumb:

yea, ain't building these days. new job sucks my time all day and when I get home and moved in with my lady who has two boys so time for pedals is about a few hours a week. I literally have about 20 pcbs of personal builds on backlog. The other thing that sucks about not being able to build pedals is that I have a desk job for a commercial production company so I'm emailing and doing budgets all fucking day so when I think of the graphics I've daydreamed about during my commute I can't fathom to work on them in any spare time.

I love my lady and her boys and love that the new job has allowed me to not stress about money at all, but I do miss being freelance / semi unemployed and single and able to make pedals anytime and however much I wanted to. I don't miss building those Multiplexes, lots of parts and I always would be missing something or two and would have to make a Mouser order. I didn't make a lot of those but maybe 10, sounded good, but always preferred the Echobase. My last build that I never finished was an Echobase that I carefully soldered, planned to implement the tape speed function from the Multiplex, and an effects loop, but something was amiss in the feedback section so I only got one repeat so it's just gathering dust.

Miss building and kinda wish I would get fired. Tradeoffs :(
