ScreaminFX (dirty reverb content within)

Post by neonblack »

Dudes! I don't know if many of you guys have heard of this company before but someone recommended them to me a while back, specifically the Uverbia spring reverb.

I was interested in the Spaceman Orion but its so damn expensive and besides the real springs, it seemed kind of boring.

But then I heard this:

He cranks the gain at one point and it sounds awesome. Real springs and way more sounds on tap than the Orion. And the clean reverb is splashy and drippy and makes me happy. This is absolutely the next pedal on my list.

I talked to Seth a bit and convinced him to make an account over here. He makes some dirt pedals too. JustNick has demoed a couple of them and they seem really useful, but this reverb has my heart. And it comes in all black :excellent:

Hopefully Seth will chime in here, and I hope you guys dig that reverb as much as I do.

That thing sounds so good... Definitely a conteder vs. the Orion. How big is it actually though? Like in terms of board space. (Not that it matters, springs take up room regardless)

It's pretty huge.

But you can put pedals on top of it.

I'm probably just going to put a bypass looper on board and have the pedal on the floor or maybe amptop.

It would be awesome if you could install the spring tank under your pedalboard and connect it to a smaller pedal with the controls on it. (Hint hint Seth, if you're seeing this)

Here's the Blackout version because

Haven't seen the video bc of work, but that blackout version looks awesome. The normal graphic stuff was enough to keep me uninterested previously.

Yeah, no offense to whoever designed the graphics but that all black is just perfect.

If you shake it can you get the really awesome spring wash? Used to be my favorite thing in my old band... synth player played through an old Marshall solid state head with reverb and he used to tip it back and drop it forward to just get a cavernous explosion. Sounded cool as hell.

I think you can kick it and get a big spring splash. The springs are exposed in the normal version so you can put it on top of your amp and mess with them too.

This has taken over my GAS lately.
