There are only two games in there that I think I will buy (there are more that I would like to play but will never have enough time for, like The Witcher 3) : Tales from the Borderlands and Undertale. I'm actually super surprised that Undertale is on sale (not something obscene though, -20%).

Yep, good stealth, RPG and Horror games are few and far between and i'll just end up replaying the Mass Effect trilogy or Deus Ex anyway.

But Tales from the Borderlands is suprisingly amazing coming from someone that isn't a big Telltale fan.

I way over did it with video games in the past few months. Way too much Fallout. So I have no interest in any of the Steam sale even though there's a lot I'd like to play. I'll just wait for Fallout 4 DLC or the Steam summer sale

You missed my favorite game! Spawn: In the Demon's Hands! Also Quake 3 Arena which still looks good today! Unreal Tournament was an amazing online experience, can't remember how many times people took the time to type cuss words at me when I would decapitate them...

What did you like to play on Dreamcast? Growing up, I didn't know anyone who owned it, so I have no idea what I'm missing out on.

Man, I forgot a bunch of quality Dreamcast titles...haha. I should post my collection some day before I dismantle it.

Dynamite Cop, Virtua On: VOOT (was ok once I got the twin sticks), Psyvariar 2, Bangaioh, Chaos Field, ChuChu Rocket, Cosmic Smash, DOA2, Fighting Vipers, Last Hope, Mars Matrix (CAN'T believe I forgot that), Jet Grind Radio, Mr. Driller, Psychic Force 2020, PSO (v1 and v2), Samba De Amigo (with proper maracas!), Segagaga (always wanted to play that...seemed amazing...and RPG about the death of sega), SF 3 (both versions), SF Zero 3, Zero Gunner 2....

And Typing of the Dead...because who else would sell that other than Sega.

Thanks for reminding me of stuff you all.

Best console ever...yea, I think it is up there...haha.

I think the thing was is that Sega took a chance and let game designers make what they wanted and let little studios come in to get market share. They were always an odd one, but after the Saturn failed they just went for it and made some savy deals with companies and allowed for the niche market to thrive (which was dumb business...it did well in Japan...and the Genesis/Mega Drive was still in production in Brazil and few other places. I don't get them and how the ran themselves in the ground over the last 10 years with shit games).

A game like Seaman, typing of the dead, or Trizeal wouldn't et full backing anymore (when the ps3 came out, Sony told developers to not use 3d graphics and games were supposed to "push" the hardware envelope. Xbox 360 Japan got exclusive deals with the Raiden crew, Cave, and Triangle Service to try to grow the niche market in Japan with the people that still had dreamcasts and stuff...didn't really work, so those companies are kinda all dead now...except Triangle Service and G.Rev...but those are all 2 man shows. Cave is owned by a Chinese investment firm I think...kinda sad...will never get a proper Ibara or Dangun Feveron).

Whaaaaat? I haven't even heard of some of these. Time to pick up another DC. I have all of my games, but the actual console died on me early this year. Hope I can find ISOs of these to DL. Piracy on the DC was a joke. Still have 30+ CDs with burned games...I have the same amount of original/bought games, but still: shame on my young self...

Finally have gotten around to doing FOB missions in MGSV. I want to get to the stage where I can disarm the Nukes.

Having a blast, best Stealth gameplay i've ever had.

Might be because of PAL. NTSC for life man! Probably getting a VGA box and an old computer screen + ntsc-j is the way to go.....

Bangaioh was on N64 also [but I think dreamcast version added some stuff]
Last Hope is on Neo Geo too
Chaos Field/Karous/Radirgy was released on Wii
New Maracas got released for Samba De Amigo [far superior to the Wii version]
Mr. Driller ,might be in MAME
Psyvariar2 is also on ps2[I think got a pal release too]
Zero gunner/segagaga have not been rereleased [and [probably never will]
Trizeal is on xbox360
Seaman is on ps2

Forgot about Rez too. But that got a ps2 rereleased with a seat vibrator...you know, to up sales :erm:

Don't know if that helps

I had many of these games and I believe I still have the Dreamcast (somewhere) ... it was an underrated console ... RE: Code Veronica was awesome! I loved Crazy Taxi but could never bond with Skies of Arcadia. I never played Phantasy Star Online but I loved the idea of online cooperative play (this may have been the first console game that allowed for it). Ultimately, I think the GameCube was a better console; it appeared that it was built better, had better graphics, and it had Rogue Squadron 2!!!!! The new wii u game Xenoblade Chronicles X reminds me of Phantasy Starr Online.

PSO 2 was announced also.

I like PSO portable. I was fun for the PSP...never played the sequel though.

I think there were co-op games for the genesis and SNES in Japan...can't remember their names though...I know you could get d/l only games on them...one for the SNES was supposedly a pretty good JRPG.

Did you play the old Xenoblade, JereFuzz? Great story, terrible gameplay at some points...but it had a pretty good story that got kinda condensed because of budget/sales (was supposed to be 5 games...ended at 3). Tried to watch the anime...but couldn't do it (just seemed off). Don't play games for the story much, but that one caught me (or rpgs for that matter).

Two new games are coming out soon I think for dreamcast...and I can't remember their names (umm...one I know is a JRPG/Grandia style it looks like and the other is based off some anime...got them both on preorder).

Oh! Really excited for the new not-castlevania castlevania side scroller from the guy that created castlevania...he went independent! Don't remember its name either. But SOTN and the DS/Andvance games were awesome!

I forgot about Psychic Force 2020. Going to hopefully find that one around.

YES! So many people hated on it. I consider myself to be a big RE fan, and I loved that game. :idk:

LG: Mr. Driller was so addictive! I thought you could bypass the region block with a boot disk. I recall playing japanese titles. Triggerheart something (Space shooter) comes to mind.

In other news: GF got me a PS4 for xmas :animal: :animal: :animal:

Gonna hook that baby up ASAP. She got me Until Dawn (because we are suckers for anything slasher/horror), and I'm going to DL Fallout 4, but: What other titles should I download? Smaller indie titles are welcome! :joy:

Nice score on the PS4! Awesomeness!

The region thing: I thought your old TVs ran at a different refresh rate/Hz/Whatever because of PAL...meaning that all the games were out of sync with what was on screen? There were a ton of bad conversions (don't remember if they were for saturn or mega drive) where they just slowed the came down to match the PAL format...but you all got a legit release of Shenmue II!

Mr. Driller was awesome!
