Sounds gorgeous to me.TOMKAT_BKLYN wrote:finally worked some kinks out of this. delay/reverb. holding the footswitch goes into self oscillation which is adjustable inside.

Totally great sounding! I'll be picking one up soon as that's an option. My bender keeps growing on me and gets used more and more every week.

OMG!!
this sounds amazing!
maybe i'm missing something, is this an always on effect with a momentary switch for oscillation or does the single switch turn on/off the effect AND control the oscillation? i would love a two footswitch version of this.

Yeah, cool, dig it!
It sounds quite different than the previous proto.
Which controls will it have external and internal?

Re: TOMKAT PEDALS
Hey! thanks! The video shows the pedal on and engaging the oscillation. The one switch turns the pedal on/off with one tap and holding it engages the oscillation. I didnt make room inside for two footswitches and didnt want to rip too hard on the caroline havoc switch setup plus I just liked the idea of one switch with two functions. I'll let you know if I change it to two stomps.OddKnowledge wrote:OMG!!this sounds amazing!

Gotcha. One footswitch works just as well. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes!

Re: TOMKAT PEDALS
1. Right now the oscillation switch is controlled via relay that basically changes the feedback pot value to a second internal pot value. In the next version of the pedal I want to use a digital pot to control this for smoother transitions and other control options. Thats gonna be a few months tho so for now I'm sticking with the relay. I def feel you on making shit smooth all over the place tho.UglyCasanova wrote:TOMKAT_BKLYN wrote:UglyCasanova wrote:
1. Yeah, I noticed that it was always on after my comment. Still think the clicking sound/rythmic sound after the oscillation shouldn't be there though. Maybe have a soft release gate or something for when the oscillation stops to make it less noticable?
2. Awesome!![]()
Looking forward to the full demo!

Thanks! Yeah I wanted to make it a little mushier than the first prototype.Tristan wrote:Yeah, cool, dig it!

The external controls are feedback, delay time, delay level, reverb level.
The internal trimmers are for clean level, and self osc amount for the runaway mode.

So I just watched this on my computer instead of phone. Do you turn the light at one point? Like as a control for the pedal? Is that a thing? If it is, it's news to me.

Hey! yeah the top light is a clear plastic pot thingy thats lit up. It's the knob to control the reverb level.PeteeBee wrote:So I just watched this on my computer instead of phone. Do you turn the light at one point? Like as a control for the pedal? Is that a thing? If it is, it's news to me.
