NAMM leaks, announcements, and rumors

Post by echorec »

I'm going to consolidate some stuff in this thread. Feel free to post links or news, and I'll gradually add some of the highlights to the OP.

Here's some of the latest items coming from a variety of NAMM reports:

**1/22 update. A Waldorf rep has confirmed that the Kassettenspieler is a fan's rendering and not a current product being developed.

New pedals are expected from TC Electronic, Electro Harmonix, and Digitech and several others that have yet to be revealed.

I'm not sure if the new TrancePortal will be at NAMM, but the Mr. Black site already confirms that it will be available in February.

What are those pedals with the sliders? Ghost Doom and something else? What company is that?

Why, it's our very own ILF-ers spruce_moose and mysteriousj. The Lightning Bear Lightning Wave pedals. They look amazing. Check out the sharktank. I'm surprised they haven't gotten more attention here especially with mysteriousj's (Eightytape) involvement.

Ghost is a tremolo, Doom does filter sweeps, and Astro is a phaser. 5 presets user defined, custom waveforms either by timed steps or via real time fader input, CV out if I remember correctly. And he's planning on making a pocket oscilloscope to match like in those videos

These were posted a few days ago for sale before they were even announced (still not yet?), which was a little weird, but then again it's EH :idk:

I guess they have a special arrangement, because otherwise that would seem like a great way to lose one's dealership privileges.

I'm surprised by this price. I thought the smaller Lester was going to be $209-221. I was thinking about getting a used LEX, but $178 might be hard to say "no" to.

Yeah good lord. Nobody seems to be able to tell if it's real or not though. Looks like lots of fun.

New Catalinbread always gets me a little excited. The Bicycle Delay is a no-brainer for me and I'm dying to see what the other gadget is.

That EHX Organ module looks really cool, same for the PM keyboard.

Also, interested in that EQD Harmonic Tremolo and Delay/Reverb.
