Yes, in a way. First of all, the ICs and the whole conceps are different. Then, it only produces this "tape stop" things when you turn on the light sensor for the sample reduction. It's not the main feature here, just thought it would be cool to have it too. If the question is "can't you do all of it using a glitcher?", the answer is no. Not at all.
For sure. I wasn't trying to call you out or anything, I just thought they had some similar sounds going on.
I agree they have similar sounds, but i'm kinda pumped to hear what they all do together in a chain, or just in a full mix. They have a kind of similarity that makes me feel like they could glue things together really well. Also, infinite love for the builders who are just into fucking up old ICs for fun. It's the best.
