SIB nick nitro

Post by pillof »

I've got a SIB nick nitro in the mail coming this week. It's pretty cheap so I can't help myself but place the bid.
I don't know what to expect though, all I know is it's a buttface+octavia.

anyone have experience with it?

I recently purchased one. I'm trying to downsize my board a bit so the idea of an octavia and a fuzz in the same small casing sounded very good. I think it was a good buy. It doesn't colour your sound and it's got a lot of fuzz.

They're cool. A silicon fuzz face and an octave up fuzz in one pedal. They can be totally independent of each or stacked together.

There's a good deal for one on ebay right now: http://cgi.ebay.com/SIB-Nick-Nitro-Fuzz-Face-with-Octave-Octavia-2-in-1_W0QQitemZ170461969796QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar_Accessories?hash=item27b0533d84

yeah I got mine last week. the fuzzface side cleans up way better than I thought when gain is kept at 3:00

on the other hand the octave fuzz is mind-blowing. Thick and LOUD with barely no noise when cranked, and sounds great even when playing chord.
