Malekko is doing another run of Spring Chickens

...only for PGS. It's the LE with new alternate finish and the dwell mod stock.

amazing amazing pedal...it goes perfectly with my rrr. The expression input is really handy for swelling into those completely washed out verb toanz.

It's a great match with the rrr...the only thing the rrr doesn't do is spring
I run RRR > Chicken and love it.

Even though this forum has had some troubles with Malekko in that past, I still really want one of these :p

Most of it is bitterness over the malekko forum...only 2 or 3 dudes have had real problems.
Josh has been nothing short of a gentleman and a scholar in my interactions with him.

Buy one and sell yours in a couple weeks! It will cost you the price of the dwell mod and you'll have a cool rare finish!
Seriously, the dwell knob really makes a huge difference.

Remind me again what the difference is between this and the chicklet?

I know this has the expression input, but is the circuit the same?

Nope, the SC uses the Belton brick. The Chicklet don't, it's a different circuit. IMO the Chicklet sounds really nice but the SC is exceptionnal.

I asked josh once and he said he tried to recreate the SC as best as possible without using the belton, which resulted in the chicklet.
While the chicklet seems to have lower noise, it seems some people still prefer the sound of the SC.

I have a Chicklet and dig it. I didn't think they were going to do anything more with the brick...

Oh jeez. So I just went and bought one of these... and one of the rain drop miniberators from Dr. Scientist.

Q: Is that too much reverb?

A: Trick question! There's no such thing!
