Too many knobs, too many modes. I'm on a big "less is more" kick. I do like Dr. Scientist a whole lot though!

Ghost echo for sure. Hell, you can find the small box ones for under $100 pretty easily.
It's easily the coolest sounding reverb of all time. The slight modulation, the little bit of slapback.

i love my rm1n to bits, but the bitquest's reverb is AMAZING. tone control = huge WIN. sounds killer with or without the fuzz. probably my fav verb. also leaves the dry signal completely untouched! a rarity in my encounters.vidret wrote:always bitquest. always.

Interesting development - my friend offered to sell me a Blues Deville 4x10 with blown speakers for $200. It works as a "head" into my cab. Oh boy, decisions decisions.
Side note: the RV-3 gets pretty spooky!

The Ghost Echo is great, if you liked the RRR and dig the RM-1N too I don't think you can go wrong with it.
good deals with: the_brow, phantasmagorovich, alexsga, DarkAxel, goroth, The Wood Wizard, Tendollarcat, vbps, monkeydancer, intothegroove, Brobee

Is this your main reverb? Been really curious about these.PeteeBee wrote:Didn't I get my RRR from you? Like neon says, it doesn't do dirty on it's own.
I really love my météore. On my pedalboard I keep the dirt on it at 10 o'clock or lower, but that's because I have other dirt happening. I actually like it by itself quite a bit. I've been plugging in tuner, rangemaster, météore (with the dirt knob up more) and been having a really damn good time.
At that price you should buy it and turn it into a head.ThurberMingus wrote:Interesting development - my friend offered to sell me a Blues Deville 4x10 with blown speakers for $200. It works as a "head" into my cab. Oh boy, decisions decisions.

Yeah im buying the amp, and I will keep it a combo. A 4x10 on top of a 2x12 just looks badass!
I'm gonna use my RV-3 for a while and pick up a Meteore down the road. I'm just so damn interested in that pedal that I need to try it out!

Re: Meteore vs Ghost Echo vs ???
For the moment. I'm definitely not flipping the RRR because I really like a hall setting. The météore is less distinctly springy than some other spring based reverbs I've played, so that is nice. The knob that makes it more distinctly spring also adds other cool harmonic nuggets and magic.HAVN wrote:Is this your main reverb? To better answer your question: yes, but soon it will be one of two. It's the reverb that convinced me having multiple reverb pedals on my board was necessary and a good idea because I like what it does so much

So good.
So, so, so good.
I think I may keep both that and my Big Sky on my board.
Also just ordered an Echo Degrader. Can't wait to hear what it sounds like with the Météore.
