What sets the Disaster Transport Jr apart from the rest of the flock? I mean, everyone and his mother is selling 'analog voiced' delay peds, and an actuall BBD delay with a couple bells and whistles (ES-2, Memory Boy,...) can be had for a little over $100.
The DT Jr isn't stereo, there's no tap tempo or modulation, there's just your every day 600ish ms of delay time...
I'm still tempted to snag one and find out for myself, just because it's EQD, and I could get it pretty cheap
But a the same time I'm thinking it might make more sense to look for something less 'bare bones', like a supa puss or something. Or as far as faux analog delay goes, the Digitech obscura seems like pretty strong competition, with its extra modes and controls and the stereo i/o...
I lost count of the delay pedals I bought and sold in my day, this must be my 821th "which delay pedal" type of thread here at ilf
