I can get one of these for 12€.
I've always thought that DOD pedals were junk, but I found some good comments about them in this forum. I've never used one.
Be aware that it has a "not standard by today's Boss-center neg" power input (1/8" TRS phone jack for power).
I hated them in the day. Some folks here like various DOD pedals, but that era was the sort of $5 pedal you passed to the pizza guy as a tip and electronics don't age like wine.
But if you hate it, can always chuck it through a window.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.
If it was the two-knob version of the FX50B I would say get it, only because you might be able to flip it for a little more. The three-knob will be hard to unload if you don't like it....which you probably won't.
While there may be a kult of DOD, it's mainly due to their more distinctive dirt options.
Full disclosure, I'm not an overdrive fan, but unless it was free I would pass on the 3 knob yellow (od) or orange (basic distortion) models... If they were clean 2 knob versions, yes I would be looking to purchase and flip...
The DOD delay and modulation pedals are usually more desirable.
I've never had one of their overdrive pedals but I've got a Thrash Master and that's better than I would have expected! I think a cheap overdrive would always be worth having if you make desktop based music but I doubt the FX50B would ever usurp a lead guitarist's prized boutique overdrive or whatever.

Agreed. Hated mine when I was younger but that was mainly based in youthful ignorance because I wanted everything thick & heavy and didn't truly understand the nuances of overdrive.
I've never really wanted "overdrive" - I either want clinical clean, BF-voiced clean at about 4 on the dial or equivalent, before it breaks up, or melt the world.
And I just wouldn't accept the noise floor of the DOD stuff versus the Boss and other companies, even on the mod and delay stuff.
Only exceptions were some of the DOD Phasors and the later Vibrothang that is still not a bad beast (but even there, noise floor varies unit to unit quite a bit).
