A pedal that instantly turns your guitar into plastic?!
Seriously though, set your sights on a Dan Armstrong if you want that tone. It's the guitar that gets those weird buzzsaw tones. Not the Peavey PA and not the Roland pre-amp.

for the guy above, make sure you get a 30-40w iron with a stand and it should be upgraded with a thin tip.
For Weller soldering stations the ST6 works really well for pedals and other small connections.
Also a few light scrapes with a razor blade is great for tinning the tip.
also get yourself a solder sucker and a small fan to divert the fumes.
I've already got a nice hakko iron, but man do i need to invest in a solder sucker and a thin tip. the amount of projects I have ruined form a bit to mush solder sucks.

Had crisis of conscience with this today, actually.
1. Fix Sovtek. Sell Sovtek and buy Sunn Concert Bass. Convert AOR to kt88 output and run in stereo, as per this years plan.
2. As above, but sell both amps and buy a Hellhawk. Be mono but awesome.
Either way I will be learning how to build my own cabs this year.
Lower priorities: buy delays, get another superfuzz, get a rotosphere.
WWPD?

1. To keep my pedalboard as-is for the next 6 months. No purchases, no trades. Miku Stomp>RV-3>DD-6>Fuck Mountain>Fuck>TAFM>Buzzz>Warped Vinyl Mk. II>Belle Epoch>Telegraph Stutter. Plenty of toanz in that combination. There's an Anarchy Audio Flutterby tremolo on the way, too.
2. To learn how to properly setup a guitar. I have enough of them, I should be able to properly intonate them. My Stickercaster especially needs some TLC.
3. To practice more. A lot more.
4. To record something.
My force of habit, I am an insect
I have to confess I'm proud as hell of that fact

You don't even need to change your pedalboard. It already gave me an erection just thinking about it.

I recommend Dan Erlewines book. It covers pretty much everything regarding setups, understanding neck bow, nut filing, saddle adjustment etc.
Heres a used one for half price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Guitar-Play ... SwPgxVP2-X
I want to clear out anything I am not using regularly
Finish up my new board wiring with the snake and such
Figure out a way to get my whole rig loaded in and out in one trip if possible
Wire something up to go Direct with good tone if needed (Amp in a box pedal and a DI I think) Want this to fit on a small board with one or two essential pedals and all tuck in a small bag.

I'd like to get a new amp. Either one of the handwired Vox or Oranges. I'd really like to get a Verellen again, or check out those Science amps everyone raves about.
Finally get an ES-335.
Get some better patch cables. I use those solderless ones, and they're sucking pretty hard.
Get my board going in a way that actually works. I've got a bit of a hodge-podge going. Would love an AB-Synth or a Fuzz God again, those are fun.
Play more shows, which I think is actually going to happen.

Meh. I'm good with my Mesa Bass Prodigy. It does anything and everything I'd ever want in an amp. I don't find the Science stuff appealing at all, but I don't find most of the amps the majority here like appealing.
"I do not have the ability to think rationally 90% of the time and I also change my mind at the drop of a hat".
For me I think it will be mainly about keeping with what I have, maybe change a few things here and there, sell and buy something but nothing too crazy.
The most important thing is finally getting some decent recording setup going and getting the pedal boards together.
good deals with: the_brow, phantasmagorovich, alexsga, DarkAxel, goroth, The Wood Wizard, Tendollarcat, vbps, monkeydancer, intothegroove, Brobee
1) find a way how to buy at least something
2) be able to use the Industrialectric 4046-M
3) better octave pedal
4) better delay pedal
5) decide whether I want the tremolo pedal if I don't use it at all
6) find something tonally between my Elements and Huge Box OR find a different OD and use Elements as distortion/grindy fuzz
