Ahh I edited my last post but you were quicker! Nope, that was just the loop on the verge of fading out!

No it can't.
But reverse delay at a really high feedback level can do something like that. Delay time is sadly too short for looping though.

Honestly the El Cap is worth it for the looper alone. The delay is rad, but there's a lot of good tape delay simulators. I'm thinking I might go back to my Pt. Jr so I can add my ES-2 back as a modulated delay and leave the El Cap solely in looper mode.

El Cap is a rad delay for drone thickening for reverby type sounds, but it's the best for standing out. I've been using the looping mode as a delay even with the feedback knob at like 70%. Looper is great fun with another loop running into it, too.

Apropos digital tape delay emulations, I've been strongly considering getting rid of my Echorec these past couple of weeks. I use it alot, but starting to grow a bit tired of its superambientdigitalsheenrepetitivebeauty. Not sure I really want it to be an integral part of my sound, though those rythmic repeats are pretty damn cool. :idk:

I think I'm going to pimp out my vmjm before giving a build a go. currently looking at the creamery's p90 and dark star/humbucker combo. will probably go with valhalla if theirs can fit (waiting on a reply). current dilemma is deciding which one goes where. I'm imagining a p90 for the neck would be ace, but does anyone have any preferences as far as that goes?

thing is going to rip with new electronics

What are good Reverbs with trails? I hate how reverbs and delays just stop.

I've likely played them all :idk:

The problem is that you're turning them off.

I did that. It was cool.

I'm not exactly sure. I think they're single coils with a humbucker cover. upon further research, I might just get a mastery bridge instead.
