But more importantly...you have friends in Bakersfield? Crazy! From there and four generations (or more) or of my family are from there.....ummm...yea
Maybe, time to flip? Could probably raise that in a day or two...
Yeah, dude... One of my best friends moved out there about a decade ago, and I have been out a couple of times to visit him. He just got married and moved out to Tehachapi which... good for them, because the air in Bakersfield is awful. His wife's family is from there (Caliente Creek area), so... yeah... Bakersfield...
Back to the Sunn, that's about the cheapest I have seen one in recent memory. I know it needs a little work but I got bitten hard by the Model T bug recently and have a browser tab open to that ad right now...
hahaha, I do too. Go for it if you want it...I'll find one eventually...pretty happy with the beta lead really for my needs (just kinda trying to see if it is as magical if it was way back when I first started playing guitar and it was the amp I tried in the shop...before getting a stupid Randall combo...always regretted that, but tubes were really out of fashion).
You ever check out Front Porch in Bakersfield? They used to have the largest Mosrite collection (still might, though collectorism is through the roof these days). Tehachapi is all right. Fun to hang out up there for a bit. Way better than the Lake isabella area. Tehachapi used to be straight edge central.
I left almost a decade ago...it just isn't the same place now. Still got my burn in tan though, Hank Hill style. So much good food and stuff to do there that gets kinda passed over. Next time you head out that way, let me know...I'll find some neat stuff (see what is still around). Ed Sanner is up in the mountains still building amps and Nu-Fuzzes/Fuzzrites on occasion too. Yea! Cheers man! It was a great place with a lot of history at one time (the Bakersfield sound, Punk, Indie-Rock, Emo, Surf, music equipment, Basque, Nu-Metal, drag racing all have deep roots there...not proud of the Nu-Metal though).
There was a time where three good shows would be happening within blocks of each other...go see like Cattle Decapitation, walk over and see 400 Blows, and then go see all your friends do techno...kinda dead last time I went back though...

I'm going to reimagine the use reverb in ambient guitar music. I don't know about you, and no offense to anyone personally, but I am a little burnt out on the typical washed-out reverb sound that is prevalent in a lot ambient guitar clips I see these days. It all sounds the same to me. I am not saying it sounds bad, just that I have trouble hearing the difference between one person's song compared to another person's song. It might as well all be done by the same person.
Look for the new standard for people to copy from me in 2016. Or don't. I could just be overestimating my sound design abilities.
I pre-ordered a TE-1 Space Case Tape Echo like a week ago, which should be finished/shipping in late January...
Still lusting for a spring reverb where I can mess with the springs, a Randy's Revenge, EGC all-aluminium bass VI, Sherman II and an Anti Nautilus of course...

I've had an Ekdahl Moisturizer on my list for a long, long time, you should check those out if you haven't already.
I cordially invite you to fuck right off and let the rest of us talk about music like adults.- dubkitty
Naw. I want to get a Judder and a Glitch an Elements and the Montreal Looper. Most of my other bases are either completely covered or undecided. But I definitely want to get deep into the glitch folk project I've been planning for ages.
Actually, now that I look at it.
-Elements or Boneshaker
-Charlie Foxtrot
-Superego
-856 for ZELLERSASN
-Wizard of Pitch
-Classic Audio Amethyst (probably)
-Probably a bigger power supply
