New EHX Memory Man 1100-TT in bound
Anyone else waiting on one of these? I'm really excited. I've been itching for a new delay for a little bit and this fits the bill.

Necro-bump.
Seems like no ILF'ers are to blame for the jacked up used prices for the original ones
Just found out about this. I would've been stoked if it weren't so pricey. Still though, all those tricks and extras (exp control, easy self oscillation, etc) in a tap tempo analog delay with long delay times is pretty damn unique, no?
Edit: Aparantly the Hungry Robot Moby Dick would cost me considerably less. A couple less gimmicks (exp control and self oscillation switch), but I tend to trust the build quality and customer service of HR pedals more than that of EHX
No way to try em in person side by side ofcourse

I'm interested in the 550 version, because I don't need really long delays. I need to sell some gear, before I can start buying other gear again. I already have a bunch of delays (which I don't use).

It sounds like the xvive ones are to spec though. They have the howard Davis seal of approval so imo anyone saying there's a sonic difference between the two is hearing either differences due to variations in other components or deluding themselves bc they paid $800 for an og one right before ehx rereleased them
We're on a road to nowhere. Come take a ride.

Yeah, I really don't buy into the chip magic when they have the exact same specs. But I would like to hear a side-by-side comparison.

I have the Moby Dick, it's a very cool delay pedal. Have you seen my video? (the custom color blue one)frigid midget wrote:Necro-bump.

I haven't own a DMM nor a 1100-TT so I can't compare them. But what I can say is that they both have incredible modulations.
Fuzzonaut about the RM-1N:
"Amp in a box"?
No, there's no amp in there - tone fairies and feedback goblins live inside this box.

Yeah, I read about the new chip thing...And to be honest, this wouldn't be the first time I've seen the internet go apeshit over a slightly different component value in the reissue version of their beloved snake oil pedlol that used to fetch a fortune on reverb...;p
I wouldn't be surprised if they do end up sounding identical, and if so, I'd be even less surprised if there'll still be corksniffing geeks claiming their old one somehow sounds 'more organic'
Having said that, I never a/b's both versions, and I doubt anyone else has either, besides maybe the undoubtfully very capable ehx employees
For the price though, I'd rather go with something non-ehx. Like maybe the Moby Dick. I'll check that clip of yours Willem, cheers.
