I've got a Smitty FZ-1a clone and its REAL close to my original FZ-1a, so I would imagine he does a good job voicing all of his pedals.

Also this exists

maybe its like 164$ plus shipping, maybe?
Hey, I know this may be a lot to ask of you, but could you record a shootout between the two?

Sure, no problem. Now that I've got an interface instead of an iPhone to record digitally with the comparison should be more valid haha.

You mean the smitty and maestro, right? I've also got a creepy fingers fz1a clone too, as brad is my go to guy for clones. Or did you mean between the fz1a and 1s?

Oh wait! I misread that. Thought you had the smitty fz-1s and a real one too. Nevermind. :picard:

Nah, I've got the Fz-1s but no clones of it. I'd probably check with brad a creepy fingers if I wanted one tbh, his builds are stellar sounding.

UG--I could send you my Smitty if you wanted to do an FZ-1S/clone comparison vid--I'd be very interested to hear it from you. FWIW, I like the Smitty. Don't know about rusty knives, but it rips.

I couldn't find one, so I might have a go at a vero layout for these this weekend.

:excellent:

We should all just throw in for a super ILF version, provided there would be enough interest in it.

might finally need to get this, I had a paisley superfuzz one-off, and while fucking rad. both modes left me wanting.
I'm very picky I guess with my fuzz tones. he's a cool builder and said a while back he'd make me a custom one for modes on a switch for not much more.
