Re: punk, I'm not a fucking idiot, I know that Rites of Spring, Fugazi, and Dischord in general weren't the first punk bands and scene.

Like, I think I know enough about it.

What I meant was, that's where it got interesting for me.

I'd rather listen to the music that Fugazi and their discontents made, from '87 through to today, then any "classic" punk that preceded emo- and other -cores.
