a vibe or a phaser or neither or both? or pedal indications

Sounds like there's some other modulation + phaser...chorus+phase?

Not a good enough look in the shots of the pedals

the footage is newly released, actual record doesnt drop till couple months so there boards have prob been updated with new stuff / maybe used what the studio was hoarding

Flanger.

EDIT: could also be a tight delay with modulation and feedback, but that's basically what a flanger is. :idk:

Definitely a flanger. It has that metallic scraping that is a signature of it.

Sounds like Flanger, might have a chorus pedal going on as well.

It's a flange effect, but it's not traditional. I'd like to know what was used to get that sound. :omg:

compiling my information

in recent photos of them in the studio ive seen a roland jet phase, a space echo, there old boards had like a small stone
im wouldnt be surprised if they were using some old school pedz

that flange makes me cray cray :)
