haha maybe. i don;t think there would be that many though, and maybe you can choose between them on the unit itself, thus having only 1 universal firmware to install.

I like that idea. I'm just ready to get my hands on the regular modes though haha. But the potential for growth and change in the pedal is exciting.

I know there would be a ton of work involved, but it would super cool if there were a ton of different modes and we could somehow drag and drop the 3 algorithms we wanted to use into the pedal's firmware to have as our personal 3 modes. Or even if there was a super user-friendly way to write our own modes - kind of like a more meta version of the toneprint editor on TC stuff.

I'm still waiting to get my hands on the "normal" version as well, so this idea could be unnecessary or just way too insane to actually implement, but think of all the possibilities!!! :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!:

ya it's not that insane work wise but it's more like i only have so much time right now and several projects open. We will be releasing something in the next 6 months though that experiments with things more up that alley, but the ct5 will always be more or less the ct5.

But the pick 3 of your fave ct5 configs and get the firmware generated automatically from a website etc is something that is basically already in test. For anyone familiar with C you basically just need to set some #defines and compile. Then convert the binary to a .dfu and tada inject with dfuse etc. Whether this is better though than storing all the possible patches in the unit, then selecting them in some sort of alternate boot mode is a different story, and actually the latter seems preferable to an end user, since you only have to flash it once.

And again thank you to everyone being patient on this batch.

Honestly, the only thing I think is missing from pedals like CT5, or Raster is a bit of modulation on the repeats. Like, a CT5 with a Polytope type of modulation would be perfect for what I would want.
Listen, the WORLD is my board. All of the pedals are on it, just out of my reach..

other contestant: I can shoegaze that tune with 4 pedals.

Totally understandable with you guys still being such a small operation and focusing on something other than fuzz, overdrive, etc. I will say though, the rest of your post just got me even more excited to get my hands on mine, and to see what else you guys whip up.

ya we are getting better and more organized, it's hard to see from the outside right now but i've been able to attract a few other engineers to the project so hopefully as a team we can bring some more interesting things to market.

Anyone want to post some ct5 clips to help hold me over? Haha. I'm going to post a bunch when I get mine, along with a YouTube video because there's a huge lack of videos for it. Especially more explanatory videos that actually tell you whats going on

I've been meaning to, but I lent my camera to a film professor friend of mine...

I'm not sure I'll ever see it again, I should pester her for it.
