Digitech PDS 1002 Switch Problem

Post by ShortShortManatee »

I'm just a dumdum Lookin for some Expertise!
So the right side Switch on my PDS 1002 just plain isn't working. I tried to see if I could take it off with an Allen key, but after several attempts with a lot of cranking it didn't seem to get me anywhere. Before I get in too deep and do something I regret with this pedal, I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on what i can do to fix it!? Thanks guys

they're held on with nuts and springs on the back, you gotta hold the nut then turn it.

you should be able to just straight up replace them with low profile carling momentary SPST switches if you remove the black plastic bits. the stupid DOD tactile switches go bad fairly often. I have an american metal that straight up won't turn off

Does it "click"?
Does the delay work?
Does the LED turn on?

I used to have a PDS1002 that I had to keep it plugged in to DC for a couple of hours after weeks/months of no usage to make the delay work, probably just some old capacitors not keeping up with the charge.
