Musicians you can't get enough of.

Post by Blurillaz »

Obviously mine is Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon. I am blinded by my faith towards those two. <3

Anyone else totally obsess over any musician, or am I ever stranger than I thought?

I really love the Locust. Such an awesome group that sounds like their own. Can't get enough of them or Deerhoof!

Elliott Smith. Every instrument that he plays is so unique in its sonic texture, it's absurd.
But other than that, I'm always down for some Maurice Ravel. I dig being forced to see colors in music.
I'm by no means synesthetic, but some live music really just does it to me.
And the NJ Symphony Orchestra. I'll listen to anything that they play. They're brilliant. Most beautiful and inspiring music I've ever heard live.
:hello:
well i guess, but i just don't know.

Man, I'm not into their recorded stuff, but I saw them live with Horse the Band last December and they fucking riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiped. The power of their show was incredible, especially the bassist, during the first song there was a strobe light going and he stood on the stage monitors and threw his bass over his shoulder, it terrified everyone in the crowd. For those who don't know the band, the bassist is the one in that pic with the massive beard.

Dude, yes. TMV is great, and De Facto is so cool. My dad and I ran into Isaiah Owens once, and my dad was wearing a De Facto shirt, which caused Ikey to immediately stop us and talk. I couldn't even get out any words.
