Which EQD Fuzz?

Post by plaidbeer »

I want to take advantage of the sale today at Amazon. I'm trying to decide which fuzz I need. I'd like something that can handle chords and not be too muddy. Playing a Duo Sonic and Squier Mascis JM into a Vox Pathfinder. Was thinking about Cloven Hoof or Dirt Transmitter. I don't have any other fuzz pedals at the moment. Other dirts are a Rat clone,DOD 250 reissue, and OD-3. I kinda want a Terminal for the JAMC but I'm worried that it's all buzz and not much else.

Any advice/suggestions?

Tone Reaper.

That looks cool.

The Hoof is their flagship pedal, but honestly I've always been drawn to the Terminal... I love the Shi-Ei/Jaxx/Univox sound.

Only ever played the Terminal, too.

I'd scoop the fuzz master general personally.

Thanks for the responses. I actually decided to get a LSTR instead (forgot to mention it earlier, but I really like what I've heard). I got a great deal with the discount code at Rogue Guitar Shop.
