So hey, what does the momentary stomp do in Mode 1? Cuz if nothing yet, I has ideas...

-Clear the buffer?
-Reverse the direction (instant rewind of sorts)?
-Instant continual playback of buffer head without shifting? Or something Freeze-ish?

I'd love to see some kind if stuttery effect with it. Like a momentary on switch. I like the reversing idea too. Or what f the switch momentarily brought you to totally different knob settings, and letting off would snap back to what the pedal is actually set to

So... will the new version be forced into a new design if it ships in January?
Am I impatiently overthinking?
The new version simply says "4i5e" on the back. So it doesn't matter what year it ships. (;

But seriously thanks everyone for their patience. We are making more than last run in, less time, but we are still a bit behind.

its just blank for me
i'm going to try on a different computer tomorrow to see if anything changes.
Any resolve? I have had a few people with similar issues that were fixed by manually pointing windows to the .inf (driver) files that install into the dfuse directory.

It sets the quantization in the older model. :idk:

yes but on this and the last version you have a dedicated switch for that, which frees up that button for something else, although nothing was implemented on the original firmware for rev j,

I'd like a momentary max feedback switch. :animal:

sure we can add something like that. You can already get the repeats to change with your feet via the expression pedal but i can see the appeal either way. I had some other ideas too.

Playing with my CT5 makes me want an expanded version of mode two with longer recording time and a mixer that has the normal looping signal, the chopped up version and the dry signal. :snax: Add an fx loop and it would be my dream looper.

 I want that thing too!
Fuzzonaut about the RM-1N:
"Amp in a box"?
No, there's no amp in there - tone fairies and feedback goblins live inside this box.

Ya it would be a bit confusing but what i would do is make it so it fades in a second copy of the same patch, and while the buttons down you can edit the second versions parameters, something like that. its messy though control wise. It would make it a bit more similar to mode 3 sonicaly, only more real time rolling effect instead of grabbing a sample.

another simple but interesting change is making it so you can control the minimum distance between the read and write head, not just the max (basically LEN B) now.

i guess most of my ideas had been using like a "shift" or "alt" key on a computer to access a secondary function, but just hitting the button for max feedback or resetting the buffer etc are all good too, ie the button does something directly, that's a bit different than what i had thought of.

anyway, we will see. maybe we can setup some sort of page where people can donate to any idea they like. any idea that passes a certain goal (and can work on the hardware) i will make a firmware for. no problem.

The secondary sound on Mode 1 sounds amazing, and would be something no other pedal currently has. There are more than a few delays with "max the feedback" foot switches though. Your idea is absolutely killer!

Seriously blowing my mind.
