Awesome! Was that the bender with red LEDs? That was one of my first production benders, doesn't even have a serial number haha. So cool to see where pedals end up and where they might still go.PeteeBee wrote:Yeah it was that two pedals together sale. Pumped because I don't actually have any fuzz on the board now. Had a noise swash, but it's just so unruly that it's hard for some jams. Bender should be perfect

I don't know haha. I hope so! I always love the cool bits of not quite normal stuff floating around here.TOMKAT_BKLYN wrote:Awesome! Was that the bender with red LEDs? Nice, I've got a Muffer coming with those new DIP switches.
Can't wait to hear your demos.

What are the dip switches for?
I make pedals. They're pretty loud

Re: TOMKAT PEDALS
One of 'em adds mids and the other's a diode cut.

Hey Ryan!ryan_biggamepedals wrote:What are the dip switches for?
Like Chankgeez said one adds more mids and the other takes out the second pair of clipping diodes. This combined with the lift switch on the front which takes out the first pair of diodes you can get a really loud overdrivey fuzz. I figured why not add the switches since I had the room on the board.

Hey! That's rad, I've never heard a muff with no diodes in either gain stage before. Also, any word on when we get to see that verb/delay?

Re: TOMKAT PEDALS
finally worked some kinks out of this. delay/reverb. holding the footswitch goes into self oscillation which is adjustable inside.

That sounds fantastic. It's rare to find a reverb pedal I don't have to delve deep in to get the sounds I want. You nailed it!
Soon as this things ready, I'll stop by and pick one up myself. Super excited about this one.

Glad you like it! It's super lofi and cranking the delay and reverb it gets pretty hissy but I dig it. I'll let you know when they're ready.DRodriguez wrote:That sounds fantastic. It's rare to find a reverb pedal I don't have to delve deep in to get the sounds I want. You nailed it!

Re: TOMKAT PEDALS
Sounds really good! Two questions though:
1. Clicking sound when going from engaged to bypass. Like a "click...click...click...". Prototype problem?
2. Any way of making the trails last longer? The verb ends a little abruptly.
Not trying to be a dick, but my RM-1N does the same thing (2), and it's a little frustrating. Making a huge wall of verb distortion only to have it die down in half a second after releasing the momentary switch. Sort of takes away from the epicness.

1. In the video the pedal is on the whole time. It's true bypass. Any clicking is rhythmic repeats while engaging the self oscillation. There's not really any clicking when engaging the pedal from bypass.
2. The length of trails from the self oscillation after letting go of the stomp is relative to where the feedback knob is. So if you have a delay setting with the feedback at like 3 or 4 o'clock, then you engage the self osc by holding the stomp, and it gets wicked epic and huge and you let go of the osc mode the epicness will die away slowly. I'm gonna make a real demo vid soon.
And don't worry, one of the reasons I post my stuff here is for the criticism and feedback. I appreciate you asking about stuff! Also the rm-1n is super sick.

1. Yeah, I noticed that it was always on after my comment. Still think the clicking sound/rythmic sound after the oscillation shouldn't be there though. Maybe have a soft release gate or something for when the oscillation stops to make it less noticable?TOMKAT_BKLYN wrote:Hey!UglyCasanova wrote:Sounds really good! Two questions though:
