Mini or Driving Notion for me. Love the grind they can both do and the low particularly on the DN is huge.
Also the Stone Deaf PDF1 isn't primarily an OD but does a wicked sweet bass overdrive sound.

I don't play bass but the Driving Notion really does have huge lows. The Infanem $99 sale is still going, too...

Is it?? Then everyone should get a Driving Notion if they don't have one already. Seriously.

NOT something I needed to hear. *checks funds*HeavyXIII wrote:I really like the DOD Boneshaker on bass as well. Sounds cool for guitar, but I think it was MADE for bass and it just happens to work with guitar.

Far as I know it's unique. At least, it's not a tubescreamer or RAT or DS-1 or klon or hotcake or percolator or fuzz face or bluesbreaker orramonovski wrote:What is that based on?monkeydancer wrote:Is it?? Then everyone should get a Driving Notion if they don't have one already. Seriously.

Re: Your Favourite Bass Overdrive?
I wish someone could deconstruct a Bass-Drive. It's probably nothing special. The circuit looks stupid simple but it has one gooped component and it'd be nice to know what circuit it is anyways and what tweaks were done to it.

That explains some things. Yeah the boost is just a clean boost.BoatRich wrote:It's a bass tweaked Tube Screamer with a Fat Boost at the end AFAIK?waltdogg wrote:I wish someone could deconstruct a Bass-Drive. Tube screamers are awesome for bass for sure. That one is particularly good.waltdogg wrote:That explains some things.
