how do i tune my guitar really high?
i use an alternate tuning i made up and the last three thin strings are tuned very high and unfortunatly they break about every month because they are so tight,is there a special gauge string that can be tuned very high and not be so tight? is there some sort of bridge that can allow this?

The only way to decrease tension while maintaining the same tuning and scale length is to go to thinner strings. D'addario has singles available down to .007 which appears to be the lower limit for sizing.
Otherwise, tuning lower and using a capo is the only way you'll get the same open notes while reducing tension.

so basicaly the thinner the gauge, the less tension, and the thicker the gauge means more tension?

You've got it. That's why thin strings are easier to bend than thick strings at the same pitch. Try playing on a set of .012's and a set of .009's both tuned to E standard. The .009's are really easy to bend, but the .012's are nice and firm.
I dunno man, the .013's I have on my guitar are real easy to bend.
I should mention that I play guitar like a hessian. Bass kinda ruins any finesse on guitar though.

you could get a shortscale guitar, like i think the current squire duo-sonics, or even one of those kids squires or something if just going lighter gauge strings doesnt help. or if you feel ccapable you could move your bridge closer to the neck, or just buy a shorter neck, or whatever
