I watched Gundam: The Origin II - Artesia's Sorrow. My feelings can't handle all the shit the Zeon orphans go though right now! I love the animation and characters though.

Great store, thanks for sharing. Would have liked to see a Pri Pri Prisoner tank top, though.

^^^ It's awesome. Do it, then watch End of Evangelion. Unless you're rogue, and just watching the remakes, then do whatever.

I watched the first episode of Non Non Biyori a while back, and thought it was stupid. I tried watching it again last Sunday and ended up watching all the way up to S2 of episode 3 in one day.
idk what happened.

I looooove Evangelion to death. Though it's the kind of show that you'll either love or despise with a fiery passion.

I do find it strange that while Eva is hugely influential and has as so many bad clones - it's staggering that it isn't more widely accessible.

I don't think you understand the cultural phenomenon that Eva was in Japan. I had a literature teacher from there that HATED anime with a passion, hated it. One day, after a student asked about his hatred of it he goes "Well, there was one anime. Evangelion, but that was because there wasn't a single person in my school who was not obsessed with it. To miss an episode was to be excluded in socializing for the week..." He was a good teacher. But I digress, a lot of the Eva clones are from people who grew up during that hysteria and are now in charge of anime. Same with all of the Revolutionary Girl Utena clones lately.

That's my exactly my point though, it's massive in Japan but practically unavailable in the West. :idk:

There hasn't been an official, legal edition of the DVD's been available since 2004 - atleast for me. The 3rd rebuild movie is sooooo under the radar that the movie released in 2012 isn't being released until 2016. :idk:

I need to do this again. I felt like I was missing the point when I did a few months ago, and ended up hating it and probably missing the point. I quite liked the rebuilds, but they're a whole different beast.

Anyway, a slew of new Garo stuff was announced yesterday at the now-annual November shindig, and the most relevant to this thread is "Divine Flame", a movie sequel to last year's "Honoo no Kokuin" series:

If only the current anime Garo "Guren no Tsuki" wasn't so dull. Still, this, "Retsuden" and a new Zero series next year kinda make up for it. Plus, I shouldn't have expected much from a show written by Toshiki Inoue, given his reputation these days.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.
