Randomly decided to rewatch Cowboy Bebop.

As cool and as weird as that show gets I don't know it doesn't have a billion copycats. Space Dandy was made by the same guy and is just as amazing. I want more Space time adventures.

For such a veteran series, Ghost still manages to have pretty regular content of a decently high standard while still being aimed at a smaller audience. Though the recent stuff would benefit more by looking a little more run down and less iPhone. :idk:

Though as someone not fussed about the Dub/Sub debate, each GiTS iteration hasn't got the best english dubbing and this doesn't look much better.

So, decided to check it out, and yes, it's pretty damn amazing. Fuck you for getting me into an ongoing series though, now I have to wait and be patient and stuff.

Started watching Monster yesterday. It's time. It has really sucked me in so far, always glad to see anime not based on high school kids who get powers that let them deal with FEEEEEELINGS. Also, love the style of animation.

I like watching ongoing series, gives me stuff to look forward to. Everyone I know hates doing it though.

One Punch Man is fucking hilarious. I love it so much.

Same. If i didn't have 20 or so shows to follow weekly at any given time I dunno what I'd do. Probably something productive

I've mostly been into continuing shows atm (monogatari, noragami, yuru yuri, teekyuu, owari no seraph) but OPM is cool. I also like Young Black Jack, Subete ga F ni Naru, and Shomin Sample.
Also everyone should at least watch the first episode of Valkyrie Drive....

Smashed Cowboy Bebop, decided to give Gurren Lagann a whirl. 17 Episodes in. Something to watch while playing MGO3, it is a strange show.

EDIT:
Don't normally watch leaked movies, but stumped into a link to the new Ghost In The Shell. Is pretty good.

:idk: it's not as easy to find a lot of anything that isn't fucking doujin.. [I am not a big fan fiction fan] almost everything I have followed has been either forgotten about, dropped, switched too many times, or the original publisher dropped it or went under… I just check on readers anymore.. if I had more time or there was an easier way to sort stuff fast I'd keep up with stuff more...

i generally read online at mangafox.me, i think they have a bit of Maruo. it's not amazing but it seems to have more stuff than anywhere else.
weirdly difficult to track down torrents for manga sometimes.. sucks compared to anime as far as once you get into mildly obscure territory there's either no translations or it's been dropped a few chapters in. japanese aren't really that crazy about torrenting manga either cos you can just walk into used bookstores or go to manga cafes and read whatever you want.
i'm planning to translate myself eventually but i'm nowhere near good enough at it yet, one day.. there's too much good shit out there that hasn't made it into other languages yet.

yah, it's crazy how easy it is to find torrents of people's favorite anime characters getting sexed compared to stuff of actual substance. lol

i wish i could give back to internet like that one day. i've been able to enjoy so much cool stuff, just because of random nice people on the internet.

i can't even imagine all the other cool stuff im missing out on just because of language (and i don't just mean my anime/manga junk either).

I've thought about translating before, but shit is way too toxic and in the end I don't care enough to get shit on by people who think they're god damn fluent. I'm able to read it just fine on my own.

If you're looking to buy raw, look on amazon.co.jp. That's where I buy about 95% of my manga from.

I took two years of Japanese back in undergrad and then stopped when we got to the polite forms. Too much shit to keep track of. Also my adviser was giving me shit for taking too many languages as a computer crime student. :idk:

It's weird, there was a time when Anime was so incredibly hard to find and being able to watch an entire series was a feat of patience, saving up a tonne of cash, luck and patience and I always ended up with the shitty English dub anyway. Who really needs the arrogance of bitching about content that someone else worked on and that you consume for nothing.
