Sounds great. I'd love all of their stuff if they had tap tempo, though. Practically unusable for me without it.

Why don't they give a proper description of what the thing is and what the knobs really do ?

At this point with this kind of stuff I just wish I could see the code (because it's probably DSP-based) before buying, just like for the Afterneath...

The Tel Ray was such an iconic effect. Lots of myths, rumor, and just mojo swirling about it. I love the fact that Catalinbread harnesses the essence of what the effect is and does, and then they give you a wider range of delay than was possible with the vintage unit.

Manual is available in PDF. New demo out this week should dive deeper. If you know what the originals did, you can get more "proper" with the manual.

I'd be interested to hear one of these beside a Black Fountain.

Sounds pretty great. I just can't ever seem to gel with the pedal artwork when it comes to Catalinbread though. :idk:

It sounds great, I don't really use delay but I'm still tempted by this just for messing around with.

It sounds great, but I would have liked to see more knob twisting and range of sound than oil can echo history. Have to wait for some more videos before I take the leap but I am on the edge of jumping!!

Plenty of range in there. I can get mine to sound like your regular delay by turning the balance all the way right, backing off the reverb and viscosity, and adjusting the timing to taste. Very versatile, enough to make it my main delay on my main board.
