I guess I hadn't been too compelled to check it out until now because I've gotten a little burned out by the Black Keys ubiquity, but...
Shit, some fucking awesome stuff going on here. The songs are great, but there's especially a lot to dweeb out about from a recording standpoint. The guitar tones, esp the fuzzes... god damn (I guess that's to be expected from Auerbach).
I also really liked his first solo record—why don't the Black Keys just play like this all the time? They've long since broken away from the bare guitar/drums sound.
Anyway. Shit is good.
