hey guys need a few tips on soldering pedal pcbs just bought some devi pcbs and having some trouble soldering them in my tip is the wrong one (i think) for this type of work
i didnt realise how small the holes are haha and how close there all together
My iron came with a pretty small "screwdriver" tip, which works fine (and great for making cables and bigger things), but I just bought a pointed (conical) one, since I think it'll work a bit better on PCBs.
Not sure what type of iron you have or even if you are in the US, but I highly recommend buying tips from Dale Pro Audio. I just got a new Weller iron and the tip was too big for pedal stuff, and I couldn't find a new tip for less than $6 plus shipping. I finally found a new fine point Weller tip at Dale for $3.44 with free shipping.
