I love my dirge rangemaster. Never set up pedals without it. Both as a tuner out and that little extra zest. I run a SS amp about half the time so it's not so much about pushing the tubes as pushing pedals which I prefer the sound of with a hot signal. Others I always turn it off to use, like the dwarfcraft great destroyer. That thing can't handle the hotness unless I'm just doing noise.

I know, but mr skulls specifically mentioned it in the op. Figured it was fair game.

I know you were just yanking my chain, but that is a little interesting. When does a clean boost become an overdrive? Obviously splitting hairs here. I used to use my ep boost as my main OD.

True. :idk:

Most of those he mentioned aren't uncolored boosts anyway.

Does that help?
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

Much love for the Truck Loud and its gainy coloring goodness that somehow leaves the low-end alone.
A friend turned me on to the RC Booster. I like, especially being able to hype the high end and up the gain to get pretty close to what I like about my Ampeg B-25B (and its ultra hi switch) while playing thru a different amp.
Great deals with lordgalvar, filipre, seten, DannDubblewe, PumpkinPieces, backwardsvoyager, DADGBD, jwar, JonnyAngle, dandolin, pd~, Dungus, dminner

I always wish I could catch a thread like this right when it goes up so I could be the first person to reply with just a simple "yes".

I really dig my EQD Arrows, not sure that it's really a clean boost, since it does color the sound quite a bit, but damn if it doesn't make just about everything sound better.

I was looking at that guy when it was announced but forgot about it. How are you using it? Where is it in your chain?

I've only used it first in my chain. I keep it slightly above unity to make my cleans jangly and pretty (or de-mud a neck pickup), and also to push my Pharaoh (which chugz like a motherfucker when the Arrows hits it).

I hate to say it but I'm becoming a fan of just playing clean in general with some compressing, delay, fuzz, and phaser. You know. SUPER CLEAN. Like only 4 fuzz pedals on at once instead of the 10 I usually would use that just kind of mash into each other and sound like garbage. Really dialed in some cleans on my Year 4545 the other day. SUPER clean mode can be achieved with pure clean oscillations.
