Carson's claim that Obama and Clinton get less scrutiny is pretty absurd as he said it an arms length away from the #1 birther during a debate he demanded be under 2 hours just weeks after Hillary spent 11 hours straight defending her actions over one incident (also a reminder that the email "scandal" came up squeaky clean)...
Hillary's 11 hours weren't from the media. They had bought hook, like and sinker the original lie that Benghazi was about a video. Things the media won't ask Hillary:
1. The child rapist she saved from prison, or his 12 year old victim whom Hillary implied was promiscuous (how would you feel if it was your child?)
2. Frequent Clinton Foundation contributor Jeff Epstein; who also happens to be a convicted child molester who had her husband on his private jet many times that jet is referred to as "Pedo 1"
3. The condition that the Clinton's left the White House with close to $10,000 in damages, is that kind of behavior presidential?
4. Why was her first instinct to lie about Benghazi?
5. Why did the park service investigate the "suicide" of Vince Foster?
They are too busy harassing Dr. Carson about grain in the pyramids. Not to mention they overlooked Bill's rape allegations, which in my local paper had the same amount of column space as a new oil for popcorn.
...and Obama? What they won't ask him.
1. Does he think that the ACA may have something to do with the Workforce Participation Rate remaining at a 30 year low?
2. Has any of his promises concerning the ACA come true? Since nobody saved the "average" of $2500, nobody got to keep their health plan, even if they liked it, many lost their doctors.
3. Why does Michelle have the largest staff of any first lady in history? Is that really wise when the country as a whole is struggling?
Too busy implying that Dr. Carson lied about his temper as a youth.
If the media is reality then Colbert is correct that reality HAS a absolute liberal bias.
You bring up a good point: The phrase "The Media" is only useful for arguments via confirmation bias and simple-minded platitudes. If you want to actually be clear about what you're talking about you need to call it "the MAINSTREAM media" because that's soooooo much more objective...
Also, you bring up the point that percentage-wise Carson has been unfairly scrutinized, because the entirety of his public life is about a dozen or so batshit crazy statements. Let's scrutinize his years of public office and concrete policy platforrrrrrrwwwaaaaaiiiiiiitttttt...oh yeah...he's literally just a guy who has said insane stuff.
In all genuine honesty: To be fair to Carson, I really thought he just started saying hateful, idiotic things for public attention to sell books/build public speaking value. Then I heard about the whole pyramids and grain thing from 1998, and realized he was always eagerly deranged.
Yeah, I'm not sure how Carson has gotten this far along in the race. Although, to be fair, look at the rest of 'em.
