Yeah. That's it's taking so long...track work.

:picard: I enjoyed it, but not really because I missed school today because my train was stalled for an hour

I hate octave fuzzes.
But I love the Mantis2's Octave fuzz. It's just... oh man.
I really, really like this pedal.
And if you dig noise, pair this up with an Antenna 2. Crazy shit happens. I'm surprised my 30-ish year old speakers survived.

The Mantis2 is very loud if you want it to be, and it's ridiculously versatile. I stuck mostly to random knob-turnings and some presets that the good copilotbuilderman sent me, and each and every one of them is so ridiculously fantastic. Its octave down is glitchy as hell, sounding much like a bluebox with rabies and a cheating whore of a spouse. The splatter fuzz sounds are very unique and punchy, but they retain clarity pretty well, too. It's one of the glitchiest pedals I've played with yet, but hey, that's what we love about CopilotFX, eh?
I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you guys might have. 'ey BC, I'll be shipping it to you in the morning with a surprise. :)* Don't forget to sign the box!

And thanks for the tea, Nychthemeron. It was delicious. And your note will go on my wall, amongst other awesome drawings/notes I've received over the years. Promise.

Lastly and most importantly, Thanks, Copilot, for making this tourbox possible. I'm glad I got to try yer pedal. I really dig it.
well i guess, but i just don't know.

Who knows? We could have another tourbox for some of the new pedals...
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

I got the mantis in today! I'm not gonna be able to give it a rip until tomorrow, but I'll definitely give my impressions. And then on Tuesday night I'll bring it to my rehearsal space and hopefully be able to pump out a short demo vid.

Jrmy, I'll PM you about meeting up sometime maybe thursday or friday to hand it off to ya. (and grab a beer ;))

OK, I just got the chance to jam on the Mantis for a bit. Holy crap this is a cool pedal! If I had to describe its sound, I'd say its kinda like the most tweakable possible blue box/glitch computer + the tremolo from the Rocket. Pretty goddamn awesome! I can't wait to try it out at full volume on my full rig Tuesday evening.
