ZOOM MS 70 CDR anyone?

I'm on the MS-100BT camp. Yes, a lot of the things that are standard on the CDR are paid extra on the 100, but the 100 can do one more extra effect (which also probably means some combos are possible on it and not the CDR), and I like having the options to use some of the amps and some of the distortion (most of the distortion is shit, the only good ones are the ones you have to pay extra for). The 100 also has some nice EQs, and I think some of the nice delay/reverb/mod is not available at all on the CDR, but I haven't checked. So, I guess if all you need is the modulation the CDR is your best bet, but if you have the money consider the 100. I just got a second one for cheap, I don't regret it. Then again, part of it was that I had a bunch of money on my App store account from an Apple gift card I could do nothing else with (don't use iTunes, don't get many apps), so it's not like that money was being used on anything else anyway...

I definitely think everyone should get one or the other, depending on their need and ability. I make noise, so I need a lot of distortion, but this covers most of my everything else I could want.

I have the Zoom G3X and it's great for direct recording. It sounds shockingly good and organic. The 100BT has the same chip and many of the same models I believe so you should be able to use this for direct recording.

I think I'm gonna get my wife a MS-70CDR, when she's ready for it. She's just a fuzzhead, now.

Are the Zoom Multistomp pedals likely to be phased out soon? I've noticed that the MS-100BT seems to have reduced in price recently. It's probably the best option now but it was about £30 more expensive when I bought my CDR and not all the CDR algorithms were available on the IOS app at that point.

The G3 is only $150 ... a lot of bank for the buck and you can bypass/change patches without a looper pedal ...
