Re: RM-1N
I recently got one of these used of the classifieds. Very fun pedal. Full of mysteries. So many settings and unique sounds.
Could someone clear up what exactly the drone and output knobs do? Is the drone an on/off or is it doing something in 95% of the sweep before it starts making perpetual racket?
What do the output knob do? I can't seem to perceive any noticeable effect with it.

Re: RM-1N
I'm happy you're enjoying the RM, thanks! The drone knob reacts at about 90% of the sweep and it has a bit more range when the gains are turned up. It's meant to be like that because the pot resistance is just enough to keep it from blasting all the time. The reverb outputs are meant to be subtle, they pan between the two different outputs of the reverb module, some people can notice a difference some can't. It's like mixing and mastering, everyone's hearing is different and some are more sensitive than others. Enjoy!

Re: RM-1N
Thanks for your input-
I was just messing about with it with some different settings paying attention to it more carefully and can definitely hear some difference with the output knob- it seems like theres more delay (not sure if thats the right term) with it cranked all the way to the left and a smooth transition with it all the way to the right. If I set the pedal with lots of treble and depth its like a big spring reverb tank splash with it all the way to the left.

Re: RM-1N
Awesome! Yes it's very interactive like all my pedals, past and present so it takes a lot of tweaking
Have fun and thanks so much again!

Fuzzonaut about the RM-1N:
"Amp in a box"?
No, there's no amp in there - tone fairies and feedback goblins live inside this box.

Am I a bad person for thinking that this looks better than the original (which has its charm, I admit) ?
