Re: Count To Five
His guitar board was hidden behind a monitor from where I was standing, so he might have had one there as well. I just saw a blue box with a blue light flashing and four white knobs next to the drone commander. It sounded great.multi_s wrote:I think Dave has 2 now, maybe not both on his board thoughUglyCasanova wrote:Saw Godspeed tonight and they had a CT5 on the drone board. Random info, I guess, but it made me extra excited to get a V3 for my tabletop.

The second ct5 is probably a spare.

Good to know that Godspeed is totally ripping me off. I better ask for royalties.UglyCasanova wrote:His guitar board was hidden behind a monitor from where I was standing, so he might have had one there as well. Re: Count To Five
He does, probably hidden somewhere behind the drone board. I've been told that it's his basic sound for drones. I hope the Drone Commander v2 will be out soon. I wonder why he has got 2 RC-20/30?resincum wrote:thanks for those pictures!!! he also had a drone commander somewhere? fuuu

This might just be the worst photograph ever taken, but you can sort of see the drone commander next to the keyboard. At least its chrome knobs.resincum wrote:thanks for those pictures!!! he also had a drone commander somewhere? fuuu

Re: Count To Five
Any updates about the current batch? I'm getting antsy waiting for it haha.
Also, hi everyone! I made an account here just so I could come talk about this pedal.

Yeah I'm super antsy for my CT5 and so many cool pedals keep coming up for sale and I'm dying.
Listen, the WORLD is my board. All of the pedals are on it, just out of my reach..

Re: Count To Five
Has anyone updated their CT5 on a MacBook? One of the manuals I was reading said windows based only and then another didn't make mention of it.

Re: Count To Five
The update is done using stm dfuse, there are links on my website. This program only runs on windows at the moment. We have tried it through Wine on Ubuntu and it does not work, there are reports though of it working ok booting Windows on a Mac (boot camp etc).Casavettes wrote:Has anyone updated their CT5 on a MacBook? The dfuse program is very small, if you have access to a windows machine through a friend etc this is probably the best bet as we do not plan on releasing updates that often, although I am getting pretty close to releasing the next firmware for rev h/i/j boards, within 2 weeks.

Re: Count To Five
I'm currently in the pre-order, and was wondering if anyone with experience had any placement advice for the CT5? Specifically:
- I'm assuming it will go best in my amp's effects loop - would you agree?
- Before or after delay?
- Before or after reverb?
If I like it better, it's going to take the place of a Red Panda Particle, which is currently in the loop before reverb and delay (I'm not convinced that I've ever found the best spot for that though as it does suffer a volume drop and get a bit lost in the mix).
This is the full board, except I have swapped the MF Drive for a Fredric Effects Super Unpleasant Surprise, so space will be tight:
