My bass player has one of these. Never played it myself, though. I should try it out next to the DMM and El Cap.

I will echo (get it?) the others and say keep the DMM. I had an early 2000s DMM, sent it to Howard Davis to get calibrated which made it even more beautiful, which I sold when I had the Strymon Timeline fever. The Timeline was fun, but a lot of the extra sounds are just like candy and unfulfilling. I started to really miss the simple controls and the always gorgeous repeats of the DMM. Having the adjustable preamp is pretty important to that sound, beating so many other analog delays. I eventually sold the Timeline to get a holy grail of mine, an EP3. Haven't really looked back.

I put my name on the list for an echo degrader. I don't think I'm going to get rid of the DMM, but may sell the El Cap if money becomes tight. Man, I'm so excited for the degrader.

I have to agree with the folks who said you will miss the DMM.
